Rover Welcomes Two Accomplished Leaders to Power Its Next Phase of Growth

Rover Group, Inc.

Vik Rajagopal joins as CFO and Jensen Harris as President of Marketplace, Product, and Technology, as Rover continues to build the most trusted brand in pet care

SEATTLE, Nov. 04, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Rover, the world’s largest marketplace for personalized pet care, today announced two key additions to its leadership team: Vik Rajagopal as Chief Financial Officer and Jensen Harris as President of Marketplace, Product and Technology. Together, they bring the financial discipline and product vision to make Rover the most trusted pet care brand for pet parents seeking high-quality care for their beloved pets. Rajagopal succeeds Charlie Wickers, who served as CFO from 2022 to 2025. Harris succeeds Brent Turner, who was appointed as CEO in 2025.

A CFO who has scaled businesses from the inside: Rajagopal brings more than two decades of financial and operational leadership across B2B and consumer businesses. He spent a decade at Amazon, driving expansion and innovation across several high-growth business units, then served as both CFO and CEO of Logos. Most recently, he was CFO at Motus, where he led the finance organization through a period of growth.

“The CFO is one of the most important roles in our company, and Vik impressed our team and Board with his financial expertise, strategic perspective and collaborative leadership style,” said Brent Turner, Rover CEO. “We wanted an experienced leader who fits our values and culture. In Vik, we found both.”

A product leader who has built technology for billions: Harris brings more than two decades of experience designing and building innovative products, developing organizations, and growing companies. In 2014, he co-founded Textio, pioneering AI-powered writing years before ChatGPT. He led the company as CTO and CEO, creating a new software category and growing Textio to serve a quarter of the Fortune 500. Before that, he spent more than 15 years at Microsoft, where he led the design and user experience of some of its most widely used products, including Office, Outlook, and Windows.

“Jensen has built software used by more than a billion people. His deep product and technical expertise, customer focus, and cross-functional leadership will help turn our vision into reality,” said Turner. “Putting Marketplace, Product, and Technology under Jensen’s leadership lets us think bigger about the experiences we create and how we use technology to serve our customers. This is an exciting moment for Rover, and I couldn’t be more energized about what’s ahead.”

Rover’s global footprint now spans 18 countries across North America, Europe and Australia. Sitters and walkers on Rover have provided 50 million bookings to date. In addition to daytime and overnight services, providers on Rover now offer training in the US with additional service lines being tested. The company has also deepened its investment in cat-centric care to help meet the needs of even more pet parents globally.

“Rover is a Seattle company that was built the right way from day one—solving a real customer pain point with a strong product, solid economics, and a culture that is poised for long-term success,” said Rajagopal. “I’m thrilled to join during this stage of Rover’s journey, and my focus is to support the team for long-term growth.”

“Our pets give us unconditional love, and they deserve the very best in return,” said Harris. “Rover has spent fourteen years earning the trust of pet parents around the world, and now there’s a real opportunity to be there for every part of pet parenthood. Rover’s exceptional team is making it effortless to give our pets the care they deserve, and as someone who shares a home with three very opinionated cats, I couldn’t be more excited to get started.”
