Chicago children’s hospital takes the No. 1 spot among 57 finalists and will receive a $5,000 foundation donation as Soliant recognizes 20 hospitals nationwide
ATLANTA, GA., Oct. 23, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Soliant Health today announced the winners of its 14th annual Most Beautiful Hospitals contest, naming La Rabida Children’s Hospital in Chicago the No. 1 Most Beautiful Hospital in America for 2026.
After placing fourth in Soliant’s 2025 contest, La Rabida climbed to the top spot this year following nationwide public voting. As the first-place winner, the children’s hospital will receive a $5,000 donation to its foundation from Soliant.
La Rabida Children’s Hospital was one of 57 hospitals across the country that advanced to public voting this year. Located on Chicago’s South Side near Jackson Park and Lake Michigan, the hospital was recognized in its nomination for an environment that brings together its historic setting, lakefront surroundings, child-friendly spaces, and the compassionate care and community support provided to children and families.

Since launching the Most Beautiful Hospitals contest in 2009, Soliant has recognized more than 200 hospitals across the country.
